The acclaimed jjk TV anime series has been officially acknowledged as the “world’s most in-demand animated TV show,” gaining a prestigious Guinness World Records certificate.

Jujutsu Kaisen Named “Most in Demand Animated TV Show”

Guinness World Records’ announcement and judgment were based on data from data science group Parrot Analytics, which found that Jujutsu Kaisen had a global demand rating 71.2 times higher than the typical TV show. This recognition represents a huge shift, dethroning Attack on Titan, which had held the title since 2020.

While One Piece and Attack on Titan previously reigned supreme, Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen has developed as a sensation unlike any other. Following the phenomenal success of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, it has set a Guinness World Record for the Most In-Demand Animated Series to date.

Since 2020, Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan has held the prized position of the most popular anime. However, according to Parrot Analytics data, Jujutsu Kaisen’s demand rating far outstrips that of any normal TV show.

This rating takes into account the show’s engagement levels, capacity to captivate attention, and the passionate desire it inspires in viewers.

Jujutsu Kaisen Breaking all records

Jujutsu Kaisen has not only surpassed but also demolished Attack on Titan’s record in the area of animated entertainment, demonstrating its domination in the industry.

The second season aired from July to December 2023, with the intriguing “Shibuya Incident Arc” following the completion of the first “Hidden Inventory Arc.”

The first season ran from late 2020 until early 2021, with a total of 24 episodes. Furthermore, the prequel anime film 0 debuted in Japan in December 2021.

Excitingly, an anime adaptation of the manga’s gripping “Culling Game Arc” was revealed in December of the same year, promising even more dramatic adventures for fans.
