The anime series “The Idolm@ster Shiny Colors” has released the commercial and theatrical trailer for its second season. This teaser gives viewers an idea of what to expect from the next season, which will feature the debut of “Tsubasa Gravity,” the opening theme song.

The second season of “The IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors” anime has kicked off its promotional campaign by streaming a theatrical trailer for the season starting Friday. Before its television premiere in the fall, the anime will have a theatrical release in Japan, split into three films.

The first film is scheduled to run from July 5 to July 25, followed by the second film from August 23 to September 12, and concludes with the third film from September 20 to October 10. The TV version of the second season will consist of 12 episodes.

Furthermore, the jacket illustration for the “Anime Idolmaster Shiny Colors Asobi Store Special Edition Blu-ray COMPLETE BOX,” set to be launched on September 20, has been unveiled. Alongside this, a fresh commercial promoting the Blu-ray release has hit the screens.

The commercial features the new music video “Spread the Wings!!” included in the Asobi Store special edition Blu-ray COMPLETE BOX, showcasing scenes reminiscent of the same sky. Moreover, listeners can enjoy the narration by Tsukioka Koi from Antica in the new commercial.

“The Idolmaster Shiny Colors” is a Japanese life simulation video game developed by Bandai Namco Nexus and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It serves as a spin-off of The Idolmaster franchise, initially launching as a browser game in April 2018 before being released as a mobile game for iOS and Android in March 2019.

Additionally, a manga adaptation of the game was serialized on Kadokawa Shoten’s Comic Newtype website from July 2019 to August 2022.

Expanding its reach further, an anime television series adaptation produced by Polygon Pictures is scheduled to premiere in April 2024, bringing the game’s world to life on screen. Moreover, anticipation is high for the second season, slated to premiere in Q4 2024, promising to continue the engaging storyline and beloved characters of the franchise.
