In celebration of the remarkable box office success of “Haikyu!!: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump,” TOHO has unveiled an exciting new trailer for the movie. Since its premiere on February 16, the film has garnered an impressive 5.1 billion yen (approximately US$33.9 million).

The manga series, which was adapted by Haruichi Furudate and published in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020 before being collected into 45 tankobon volumes, never fails to captivate audiences with its colorful portrayal of volleyball and the players’ companionship.

Adding to the excitement, English-subtitled screenings for the movie are set to commence on March 15, offering international fans the chance to experience the thrilling showdown.

The most recent episode of the popular franchise since 2020’s “Haikyu!! To The Top,” “Haikyu!!: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump” recreates the ferocious Spring Nationals duel between Karasuno and Nekoma.

Viz Media describes the manga accurately as it is strangely enough, after losing his first and only volleyball match against Tobio Kageyama, named “the King of the Court,” Shoyo Hinata swears quietly as he receives his middle school diploma.

Hinata is prepared for the hardships that lie ahead since he is determined to surpass Kageyama and establish himself as his real opponent. But when fate assigns him to be teammates with Kageyama, the storyline takes an unexpected turn. Now, the exact person he set out to defeat becomes a crucial ally in his quest.
