Jujutsu Kaisen Fans found Yuji Itadori in the Haikyuu official art

Fans found Yuji Itadori in the Haikyuu official art

The official Haikyuu artwork has been released, which appears to have sparked some excitement among the fan community. This excitement stems from the fact that the anime series is gradually drawing to a close, and the future film will play an important role in bringing it all together.

Surprisingly, fans of the volleyball anime series appear to be connecting the shonen anime series with the Haikyuu official art. While it may appear unusual at first look, a large portion of the fandom appears to have linked the dots. Let’s take a look at how the different fanbases responded to this rather weird crossover seen in the Haikyuu official image, as pointed out on X.

Fans found Yuji Itadori in the latest Haikyuu official art

As we can see in the poster, one of the background characters resembles Yuji Itadori. This specific fan identified the character as Yuji from the Jujutsu Kaisen series. The main reason for this relationship was the hair. Both of these characters have pink hair, which is why the fan is making this link right now.

However, the character in question is not Yuji Itadori of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. The character in art is a minor supporting character, and there are no crossovers. The character is possibly Haruki Komi, a libero of  Fukurodani school.

The only confusion caused by the official art was the colour of the hair. The colours portrayed in the anime and manga appear to differ slightly. Fans refer to him as Yuji Itadori because of his pink hair.

A portion of the Jujutsu Kaisen fans were pleased with the person who made this link. This is completely due to Yuji Itadori’s experiences in the anime and manga series. He was sentenced to death at the start of the series itself.
