TMS Entertainment describes the story

TMS Entertainment has unveiled an English-subtitled trailer for the film, providing insight into the plot: Kid the Phantom Thief announces his intention to steal a prized Japanese sword from the affluent Onoe Family in Hakodate, Hokkaido.

Conan and Heiji Hattori, coincidentally present in Hakodate, embark on a mission to apprehend Kid. The Onoe Family’s possessions are linked to Toshizo Hijikata, a historical figure who met his end in Hakodate, raising questions about Kid’s unusual target given his usual focus on jewels.

Complicating matters, the family’s lawyer is found murdered with a Japanese sword, implicating an investor/arms dealer rumored to covet the Onoe family’s hidden treasure. Allegedly, the family patriarch’s grandfather, with ties to the wartime army industry, concealed a potent weapon capable of “changing the course of war” in Hakodate.

Is Kid after this weapon? Meanwhile, Heiji endeavors to find the perfect moment to express his feelings for Kazuha amidst the backdrop of cherry blossoms in the North, setting the stage for an exhilarating treasure hunt.
