The Blue Lock: Episode Nagi movie has released a new teaser using Nissy and SKY-HI’s “Stormy” theme music. This is the first time the series has been seen in a theater since its 2022 anime premiere. Since his debut, Nagi Seishiro has fascinated fans and left them impatiently waiting more. Blue Lock Movie: Episode Nagi will make its debut in the spring.

Blue Lock, directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe, is based on the popular manga series by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura. Watanabe is well known for directing episodes of Haikyu!! Shunsuke Ishikawa, best known for directing episodes of Sword Art Online Alicization, is the project’s assistant director.

The latest trailer for the movie has been revealed, featuring the theme song “Stormy” by Nissy and SKY-HI. The much-anticipated Blue Lock film is scheduled for release on April 19th. Manga enthusiasts may recognize Blue Lock Movie: Episode Nagi, as the film adapts a one-shot manga from a few years ago, centering around the character Nagi Seishiro and his challenging experiences on the field.

Kodansha USA holds the English license for the manga, which is serialized on the K MANGA app right now. A print edition is planned for the fall season.

Everything we know about Blue Lock – Episode Nagi

The story will explore the life of Seishiro Nagi, a second-year high school student, before his enrollment in the mysterious Blue Lock program. Before entering the program, Nagi had a dull life, not finding anything interesting enough to pursue and looking at life with apathy.

But then everything changes when Reo Mikage, a classmate, notices Nagi and becomes fascinated by seeing him achieve something that seems unattainable. After introducing Nagi to soccer, the two set out on a life-changing adventure that finally takes them to Blue Lock, the ground-breaking invention of Ego Jinpachi.

It’s exciting to hear that a second season of the TV anime is being developed in addition to the Nagi movie. The series is available for viewing on Crunchyroll, where English subtitles are provided.
