In association with game developer Konami, one of the most popular football video games in the world, eFootball, has announced its collaboration with the immensely famous Blue Lock anime series.

Check out the announcement trailer below, which features well-known players from Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, and other teams channelling the spirit of well-known Blue Lock characters.

The latest version of eFootball 2024 was released by eFootball producers Konami Digital Entertainment through a press release. With this update, users may now access in-game items, log in with gifts, finish challenges, and more. Users can add a variety of Blue Lock special edition cards to their Dream Team squads during the campaign period, including Takefusa Kubo and Filippo Inzaghi as special log-in presents.

They can also obtain the limited edition “Blue Lock Team Red” and “Blue Lock Team White” strips, which are included in the “Blue Lock Pack: Yoichi Isagi” and the “Tour Event: Blue Lock 2nd Selection”; and finally, they can obtain loot through the Campaign Achievements, which include 90,000 Exp., 60,000 GP, 50 eFootball Coins, and more.

Blue Lock Anime: Episode Nagi Reveals April 19 Premiere, New Trailer and Visual

Blue Lock’s collaboration with the game is soon to be followed by the release of the film Blue Lock: Episode Nagi on April 19, 2024. The anime series’ second season has also been announced, with Eight Bit returning to animate it.

The anime is streamed on Crunchyroll, which describes the series as follows: “The Japanese Football Association launches a new, demanding training programme to identify the next striker for the national team to fulfil Japan’s dream of winning the World Cup. There will be three hundred high school athletes competing for the spot, but only one will win. Which of these strikers will be the catalyst for a new chapter in Japanese football history?”
